SW TEK is a technical leather that has been engineered so that physical and mechanical properties are as constant as possible across the hide's surface. The entire production process from tanning to drying to finishing has been fine-tuned to enhance the leather’s structure and surface strength that steering wheel leather demands. SW TEK undergoes strict material testing to exceed the required level of performance, especially resistance to wear and workability. SW TEK is used by Tier 1 suppliers and found in many European OEM automotive interiors including Audi, BMW and VW.
